America’s Got Talent finalist, Taylor Mathews, recently held a series of free concerts for Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) high schools. Taylor is working closely with Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF) in raising awareness for music education. The concerts took place at all four PUSD high schools. The final show, held at Marshall Fundamental, had 900 eager students excited to see Taylor Mathews, live. A number of students even wielded signs and posters, welcoming Taylor. The concerts help to shed light on the importance of music programs in public schools. Taylor also spoke to several music classes inspiring the young musicians to follow their dreams. Taylor is a big supporter of music education and music programs in public schools.
Taylor is joining PEF, once again, at Battle of the Bands and ROCK 4 PEF benefit music festival.
ROCK 4 PEF is a music festival that supports PEF and music programs in the public schools of Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre. This year ROCK 4 PEF will be on October 4, 2015 at Farnsworth Park in Altadena.
